Santiago Mesa is a student at UNC Charlotte’s School of Architecture. Through a new NCARB pilot program called Integrate Path to Architectural Licensure (iPAL), UNC Charlotte and Morris-Berg Architects have given Santiago a unique opportunity to continue as a student while working to complete professional licensure requirements. Santiago plans on graduating from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor’s of Architecture and receiving architectural licensure in May of 2019.
Santiago is the Director of Freedom By Design at UNC Charlotte, a design-build program which engages student to use design to solve issues throughout their communities. He plans on growing as a positive influence for his community through his curricula and professional work.
