Marquis Reynolds

Marquis brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to architecture, supported by experience in design, BIM coordination, construction documentation, visualization, consultant coordination, and construction administration. A graduate of Virginia Tech’s five-year architecture program, Marquis has worked across higher education, government, commercial, industrial, adaptive reuse, workplace, campus, and civic projects.

Marquis is especially interested in the intersection of design and technology, exploring how emerging tools and efficient workflows can strengthen collaboration, communication, and project delivery. Previous experience includes BIM leadership and work on projects ranging from small facilities to a 140,000-square-foot adaptive reuse campus. Marquis also contributed to Virginia Tech’s award-winning FutureHAUS initiative as a student designer.

At the heart of Marquis’s design philosophy is an appreciation for fine details and timeless design. Marquis sees architecture as an opportunity to reflect a community’s story and create welcoming places that foster connection. At Morris-Berg, Marquis hopes to build on this design and technical foundation while expanding responsibilities in project and practice management.

Outside the office, Marquis finds creative inspiration through watercolor painting, cooking Asian cuisine, and traveling. From Germany’s transportation infrastructure and the natural landscapes of Switzerland and Croatia to the food and culture of France, travel offers another way to experience how places shape everyday life. Marquis also enjoys keeping up with the latest technology trends and spending weekends with family, cooking, and resetting for the week ahead.
