Chris Muryn joins Morris-Berg as Architect and Urban Designer

Chris Muryn, AIA, CNU joins the Morris-Berg team with over 15 years of experience in the field of Architecture and Urban Design. After graduating in 2008 from the University of Kentucky with a BArch, he found his way to Charlotte to attend UNC Charlotte. In 2010 he graduated with a Master’s in Urban Design. Chris’ design interests range from how a group of buildings fit into a landscape in master planning all the way down to how those buildings are detailed in Construction Documents. Chris has worked on a large variety of projects for retail, grocers, hospitality, office, healthcare, parking structures, CCRC, and mixed use clients. His mom was a middle school math and history teacher growing up. It is a tradition he was able to carry on as an Adjunct professor at UNC Charlotte in the Fall of 2019. He believes that all great places tell a story. That story builds as the buildings support the landscape and the landscape supports the building. He looks forward to finding the stories to tell in all his work as we build up and continue traditions of learning and community services.
