Learning

University, College, and K-12 projects remain a special focus of our practice. Over the past fifteen years, we have completed more than 50 education facility projects in the region, positively impacting the daily lives of thousands of students and educators. Our design process relies on heavy involvement by end users and stakeholders because we believe in the concept of participatory design that ensures we listen carefully to our clients while engaging the community at large.

Creating effective learning environments is the result of asking the right questions early in the design process and pursuing all viable solutions. The collaborative approach we use involves teachers, administrators, parents, and students as a part of the design team. Collectively, we are able to develop thoughtful, flexible, cost-effective solutions that respond to the current and future needs of the community.

I could not have asked for a better architectural firm to work with than Morris-Berg. It is evident in our daily operation that the Morris-Berg team understood the needs of a high school when they designed this build.” Todd Smith, Cox Mill High School Principal
